Abundantly Abel

Jake and Andrea Mills welcomed their third precious baby on January 1, 2024. Abel was knit together perfectly with a special uniqueness called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. The left side of his heart was underdeveloped, and will require multiple open heart surgeries to restructure the workings of his heart and prolong the need for a heart transplant. Jake and Andrea want nothing more than the prayers of their family, friends, and community. They have not and will not ask for anything more.

Abel has already faced one open heart surgery with other surgeries to come this year and throughout his life. As we all know, multiple surgeries, hospital stays, travel expenses from home to Durham, NC, medications, etc. will become very costly. In the midst of navigating this new journey, we want to help lessen at least one burden. A newborn in critical condition brings about other stressors that are unavoidable. However, the financial burden they will face ongoing, is something we can all help carry.

We thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for supporting this family financially, however you can. No amount is too small. Please know your generosity will positively impact Jake, Andrea, Eden, Jude, and Abel now and forever more through this process.
