Diane Winter Reidle for Springfield Prom Queen!
Diane Winter Reidle is the board president of The Kitchen, Inc. Foundation and she's running to be Queen of Love Financial's Springfield Prom! If Diane raises the most money, she'll be crowned Queen on April 6th, so make sure you get your donation in before then!
All money raised during this campaign will go to a very special cause. Many of the children in The Kitchen, Inc.'s programs have experienced unstable housing for the majority of their lives and their families are only beginning to find stability. While The Kitchen, Inc. can provide housing for eligible families, there are some needs that remain unfunded for children in these programs, such as properly fitting clothes, shoes, and regular haircuts.
The Kitchen, Inc.’s mission is to bring stability and purpose to people who are homeless. The organization started serving the homeless in 1983 by providing meals and eventually shifting focus to shelter and housing programs. The Kitchen, Inc. serves individuals and families through housing programs like: Emergency Shelter; Home at Last, serving homeless veterans; Housing First, housing the chronically homeless; Rapid Re-housing, housing homeless families; and Rare Breed, housing youth from 17 to 24. In 2018, a total of 537 clients were served by these programs, 181 of which were children under 18.
If you'd like to join Diane as we unveil our winners at Springfield Prom on April 6th (8p-1a) at the Shrine Mosque in Springfield, MO, you may acquire tickets at SGFPromTix.com! Also, you may learn more about The Kitchen, Inc. at TheKitchenInc.org .
