Acacia foundation saint Francis

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the St. Francis chapter of the Acacia Foundation, a student-run initiative dedicated to making a lasting difference in underprivileged communities around the world. Our first two key projects aim to address pressing needs in both rural India and Ukraine. In our first project, we have been made aware of a significant challenge faced by 10 high school girls at ZPSS Komatlagudem High School in Singareni City, Khammam district. These dedicated students currently walk 6 kilometers each day to attend classes, as their families cannot afford transportation and there is no bus service available. This long and tiring commute is causing them to miss valuable class time, hindering their education. To help ease this burden, we are raising funds to provide bicycles for these girls, enabling them to travel safely and efficiently to school, ensuring they can focus on their education without the physical strain of their daily journey. Our second project focuses on supporting families in Ukraine who are facing extreme hardships due to ongoing challenges in the region. We aim to send much-needed clothing to help relieve the struggles of those impacted by these difficult conditions.
