Help Aegean Get to University

Donation protected

Let's make a difference and get Aegean into university. All proceeds from this campaign will go to Aegean.

Getting accepted into the University of Technology to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering has been a beacon of hope in this seemingly dystopian year of 2020.

It is my dream to be apart of the group of innovators and leaders from this generation that will play an integral role in engineering my country's and by extension the world's future through the use of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics. However I sadly do not have the resources to do so on my own.

I am Aegean Hall, a graduate from the prestigious Wolmer's Boys' School found in Kingston, Jamaica. During my 7 year tenure at the acclaimed institution I have ensured to place at the zenith of my priorities my academic pursuit.  With my purpose fixated on greatness I have achieved many accomplishments both academic and extra-curricular. Since walking through the Wolmerian gates in September 2013 I have maintained a position in the upper quartile of all my classes and grades. I have been awarded the Blue Report for academic excellence on numerous occasions, I was  recipient of the John Wolmer award for leadership and has been awarded Top Achiever. I graduated being one of the top achievers in the CXC CSEC examinations after I earned 7 distinctions and one grade 2. In the following year I would have done 5 CAPE UNIT 1 exams where I again gained 4 distinctions and one credit. I will be sitting these same 5 exams this year.

However, I place emphasis on holistic development and was a member of the Wolmer's Cadet Unit, where I became the Company Sergeant Major (CSM) and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant (SSGT). Whilst enlisted in the unit I would have gone through numerous leadership courses and workshops. I have several hours of community service as a the spirit of volunteerism was high. In addition to that I would have volunteered at the country's annual ISSA Grace Kennedy  Boys' and Girls's Championships on the medical team with said cadet unit being the conduit.

I recently applied to the nation's  top  two universities and got acceptance for both. However I plan on going to the University of Technology to pursue my studies. With your help I will be able to cover the tuition which ranges from $3000-$3500 (depending on the exchange rate), Other fees including but not limited to textbooks and academic materials, and cover the expenses for the upcoming academic year.  Your contribution will be greatly appreciated.
