Hi, we’re Jamie and Ben—partners in life and co-founders of Academy of Movement (AOM). Just recently married, we’re embarking on our biggest adventure yet: transforming AOM into an incredible home for you, for families, movement, creativity, and community in Bury St Edmunds.

Our journey began in 2020 with just 7 students in community halls, where we loaded and unloaded equipment from our trusty van for every single class. Today, we are overwhelmed with gratitude to have grown to over 350 students attending weekly classes. Together, we’ve built an incredible community, and now, we’re ready to take it to the next level.

Recently, we received the amazing news that we’ve been awarded a £10,000 grant from the council to upgrade our aerial rigging system. But there’s a catch—we need to raise £10,000 ourselves to unlock this funding and bring our vision to life. That’s where you come in.
