Access Soup Kitchen and Men’s Shelter - Frankfort, KY

Update: This GoFundMe is raising funds for Frankfort, KY’s Access Soup Kitchen & Men’s Shelter, which has been in Frankfort serving the community for 40 years. I am a concerned community member trying to support Access since they almost closed. I have volunteered at Access and care deeply about their mission. This fund is set up directly to Access Soup Kitchen’s bank so funds will go directly to them. Access utilizes donations for their everyday needs such as bill payments, hot meals, resources for the shelter, and staff pay.

Thanks to the community coming together, Access is funded for the next several months; however, donations are still encouraged to continue helping them reach financial stability.

Access Soup Kitchen and Men’s Shelter was on the verge of closing a few months ago due to a lack of funding and grants they normally receive along with an increase in the number of people they serve.

Access Soup Kitchen has served the Frankfort community for 40 years, opening in 1984. The soup kitchen serves hundreds of hot meals a week and the facility houses more than a dozen men each night, ranging from ages 18-72. Don’t let Frankfort’s ONLY soup kitchen close in its 40th year.
