Access to water for 500 families
Donation protected
I come to you with a heartfelt plea to support this fundraising effort to provide a regular water supply to this vulnerable village in Dehli, India.
As the scorching summer heat approaches, I have found out that over 5000 people in the Sindhi Basti village are facing a dire situation - the scarcity of water. Access to clean water is not just a luxury for them; it's a lifeline.
Many of the Lakshyam children belong to these families, and my heart breaks to hear of their struggle. This initiative is undertaken by the Lakshyam NGO, which works tirelessly to uplift and empower its students. The impact of access to water extends beyond mere survival; it enables children to focus on their education and pursue brighter futures.
My hope is to raise enough money to send a tanker of 9000 litres every week for the next 6 months, directly benefiting 500 families; giving them one less thing to worry about.
Clean water is something most of us take for granted, but for these families, it's a luxury they desperately need. If you can help in any way, I would be very grateful.
With thanks,
