Used Wheelchair accessible Van

Our Daughter Carlie was born a month early in October 2006. At 2 1/2 wks old she became very ill with Bacterial meningitis. She was very sick and in the hospital for a month. She at one point was not expected to survive.  Well, She survived.  She now has weekly therapy for physical and speech therapy. She has a diagnosis of cerebral palsey because of the meningitis. We got a van in 2006 that was 2 years old already. We thought when the time came we would need to get a handicapped accessible van when Carlie got older. Well 8 yrs later we still have that same van. Only thing  is we are in need of a newer van that is handicapped accessible for Carlie, since she is getting older and heavier. I am getting to point where I can't carry her anymore. My husband can but he isn't always there when we need to go to therapy appts or just to run errands. We are just looking for help to get a newer van that we can get Carlie in and out of safely. I don't want to get hurt as well as anybody else. We have tried 2 times to get disability for our daughter, but we make too much money. How can u make too much money when u go paycheck to paycheck? We  bought a house 2 yrs ago cause we needed something with only few steps to get Carlie in and out better. We probably couldn't afford it but we needed to do something. We get by.  A used handicapped van is running around $35,000 if not more. Its outrageous. We can't afford another payment, that is why we are trying this for Carlie. We have never had a benefit ever for her, never asked for help. Please  help in anyway you can. It is greatly appreciated!!
