Accessible van for the Deans!

Donation protected

Meet the Deans, a lovely collection of humans who are in need of a bit of help.

Brent is an engineering wiz with an almost supernatural ability to  weave movie quotations into conversation.  I do not recommend playing stakes billiards against him unless you hate having money.

Molly is devoted to her boy Jesus and lives that love by serving the youth of the Lutheran flock.  She has recently developed a passion for restorative/healing oils and would like to tell you all about it. You should probably not ask Molly about the oils.

Clara is about to turn 13.  She is clever, kind, talented – the sort of remarkable kid who produces her own pet adoption event while staring down the looming beast of puberty.

Connor is the coolest boy on the block.  He adores Vampirina and telling really terrible jokes.  Books are his first and true love.   Despite every challenge thrown his way, Connor remains the very essence of grace.  He is the brightest light.

The Deans need our help.  Connor has a rare genetic disorder called Joubert Syndrome and uses a wheelchair to make his way through the world.  Transportation practices that worked through his youngest years are nearing their expiration.  The Deans must purchase a mini van and cover the costly alteration of adding a power wheelchair lift.  The total cost of the project will be approximately $60,000.

This vehicle will ensure years of activities, adventures, and safe visits to church and doctors.  It will ease Molly’s fear of what happens when she is unable to lift her son or the wheelchair into their current vehicles.  It will allow the Deans to travel as a family unit to the corner grocery store or to the golden coast.

We started this GoFundMe with the goal of raising enough money to at least cover their down payment.   Our initial goal is $10,000.   Please consider helping as you are able.  This little guy deserves to see everything the world has to offer with his family by his side.
