Accessible Wheelchair Van for Chloe

Update 6.12.23

WE BOUGHT THE VAN!!! After it was all said and done, we raised $39,486.92 ($22,913.50 in grants, $2500 in handicap rebates, and $14,573.42 in personal donations). We couldn't have done this on our own. So thank you to everyone that donated. We are truly blessed to have family and friends who care so much about us and especially Chloe. It takes a village and we're so glad you're a part of that village.

Update: 4.28.23

We just wanted to give an update on our van fundraising campaign for Chloe. We were able to raise $3583.42 after fees with GoFundMe. So, a big THANK YOU to everyone who donated. We've been able put a deposit down on a $72,000 van with Mobility of Denver. While GoFundMe has been a great platform to use to raise funds, we've found another organization called Help Hope Live that is able to unlock a $1500 rebate through VMI if we exclusively use their organization to raise funds. There's no minimum required to unlock the rebate. So, we'll be switching from GoFundMe to Help Hope Live. Our goal is to raise a total of $32,000 in grants/donations to cover the cost of the VMI ramp. The remaining $40,000 will be afforded/financed by our family.

Here's the breakdown of the donations/grants we've received thus far.

Hi, we're the Muench Family. Our daughter, Chloe, will be a big sister in August 2023. As my mommy's baby bump grows, it's becoming more and more difficult to lift Chloe and her wheelchair out of our 2005 Honda Pilot. We are currently looking into Accessible Wheelchair Van with a VMI in-floor ramp (estimated cost ranges from $65,000-$85,000). Our family will be able to finance most of the van but we are looking for donations to cover about $18,000 of the vehicle to keep our monthly car payment below $600. We are currently working with our case manager through Developmental Pathways of Aurora and Mobility of Denver Dealership to buy a van in the next month. If you would like to donate to the cause, it would be greatly appreciated. If we can't secure the funds, we take comfort that God might have different plans for our family and a van might not be in our near future.
