Accident Recovery Fund for Mario

Hi Everyone, this is Ashley Erbayri and Amanda Truelove writing for love and support for our brother in law Mario Santini. On Thursday morning, June 29th, Mario was driving to work on his motorcycle and was tragically struck by a car. He was trauma alerted to Crozer Hospital where they discovered he sustained multiple fractures; hand, arm, rib, sinus, and most severely spine. He was transferred to Penn Presbyterian where on Friday afternoon he successfully underwent a spinal fusion and had an evacuation of a large hematoma, which was compressing his spinal cord. He is incredibly lucky and it doesn’t appear that he will have any long term deficits at this time. However, he will have quite a bit of recovery, including inpatient rehab.

For those of you that know Mario and our sister Alexis, you know that they are the epitome of selfless. They are always there for family and friends and willing to lend a hand at a moments notice. Now, Mario and his family will need a lot of help. They have a very busy 1 year old and a 2 1/2 year old at home and I know they would be forever grateful for any prayers, well wishes and support they receive. We’d love to raise money to help ease the financial burden while Mario is unable to work so they can focus on his recovery.
