Accompany Anne Wheeler's Cancer Journey

Donation protected
On Monday March 18th, my mom Anne Wheeler was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma. Glioblastoma is an aggressive and ultimately fatal form of cancer. The treatment currently available is intended to manage and extend life, as there is unfortunately no definitive cure. The path forward is long, challenging, strenuous for our family.

My mother has four sons; myself, my little brothers Jordan(15), Lucas(15), and Ian(14). In 2016 we also lost our father to cancer. Anne witnessed first hand the effect that losing just one parent had on her children. My conversations with my mom have been difficult, as she is now faced with the grief, guilt, and utter sadness for what this means for her boys now.

Without treatment the average life expectancy is 4 months. However, with treatment it is 12-18 months. My mom has adamantly said she will pursue the treatment. All she wants is as much time with her sons as possible and to watch them grow. Soon treatment will begin, which includes nightly chemo pills as well as 6-7 weeks of radiation located in the Twin Cities.

All funds raised for Anne will go towards transportation, medical expenses, groceries and childcare.

At this time she hopes everyone can keep her family in their thoughts and prayers. We sincerely appreciate everyone who has taken the time to read this, reach out, and help in anyway possible.

Thank you,
Jacob Wheeler
