Accra, Ghana ASCD Annual Educational Conference July 2024

Hello, my name is Antonio Benson, I am a Boston Public School Teacher (40yrs) presently I teach Business, College, and Career Readiness classes at Excel High, South Boston MA. I have been approved by the Ghana-ASCD (Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development) to conduct a workshop for teachers in Accra, Ghana - 1st International Educators Summit in July 2024. They want me to focus on the entrepreneurship curriculum BUILD (Business United In Investing, Lending and Development) an experimental entrepreneurship, based college and career readiness program for high school students in under-resourced communities, through the process of planning, launching, and running their own small businesses, students will develop their businesses, ideas, write their business plans and "Pitch" to venture capital advisors and launch real businesses. This International Educational Summit represents a pivotal moment in global discourse on education, with an unyielding commitment to shaping the future of education, this event aspires to convene international educators to address the pressing challenges faced by Ghana and the International world. The funds raised through this platform will help me with the registration, flights, hotel room, and food while I am there as a presenter.
