Achievement Unlocked: Salem's Top Surgery

This has been five years in the making... come September 21st, 2021, I will be undergoing my Top Surgery. For those who don't know what Top Surgery is, it is a surgical procedure that removes the breast tissue, also called a subcutaneous mastectomy. It is typically performed for trans men, non-binary people, and those who do not fall under any gender binary to make them feel truly comfortable in their own skin.

It has been a goal I have worked hard towards since I started my transition process back in June 8, 2016 and I cannot believe that it will come to fruition so soon. This is the only surgery I plan on getting in terms of my Trans journey. This will help me finally feel more comfortable with my body. One day, I will be able to walk around shirtless without fear or judgement. I will be able to finally be 100% authentically me and in the words of my best friend, "YEET MY TEETS".
