#Achy heart ♥️ Breaky Leg

Hello my name is Tony and this is my friend Joseph Shenal AKA Jody.

Im trying to raise funds for Jody for monthly expenses due to health reasons and zero income. These donations will be used for: 

Rent,utilities,food,medical care,and car repair. 

Currently Jody is 5 months behind on his expenses. 

No amount of donation is too small and will help with his recovery both financially,physically,mentally,and emotionally.

Let me explain how Jody got into this situation.

His misfortune started in November of 2021 with Covid by December of 2021 he was in ICU for 8 days for a weakened heart muscle due too Covid known as Atrail Fibrillation his heart was pumping only 15% when 50% is considered normal!

It took him until July 2022 to recover enough to be cleared by doctors to go find work.

By this time he had No money……but did find a job that he could do despite his weaken state. Yay things where looking up for him. 

Until the end of September when he fell down some steps and fracture his left Tibia. 

 For those that don’t know that’s the front bone on your lower leg below the knee. 

Jody spent a week in the hospital.Since he lived alone and the type of fracture it was he had to go to a nursing home/rehab facility. In most cases you are put in a half cast and no weight can be put on this leg,also no bending of the knee….for 3 months yikes… 

The last month of it was getting to be able to put weigh on it ,bend the knee and regain his balance.

Yes he was in the nursing home for nearly 4 months!

Was released to go home on January of this year.

With no income since September 2022.

Jody is currently doing in home therapy with a walker .

His timeframe for returning to work is still uncertain.

Jody and I had a conversation about his hardships the other day which prompted me to ask for donations. It went like this I have no food and no money to buy food. I have all these bills and it doesn’t seem like I’m getting any better.

 Wow, I thought, I can cash app you money for food .

After hanging up the phone I thought my donation was a temporary fix at best.

Jody is facing an uphill battle just to walk normally again let alone bathe, eat and work.

I thought I need to try to do more to help!

So here I am asking for your help for my friend.

My mom always said “ You don’t have nothing unless you have your health”
