ACL Meniscus Repair

One of our brightest Academy prospects Dawid has been given the unfortunate news that he will need a repair procedure to his ACL meniscus. With a current NHS waiting list of 9 months, plus recovery time, Dawid is worried his 2024/25 season is already over before it has begun.

Dawid joined the Academy at the beginning of the 2023/24 season and quickly impressed during preseason. He went on to feature in the FA Youth Cup in late August and has become a popular figure both on and off the pitch.

Dawid is a forward who has electric pace and a keen eye for goal, having a significant impact this season with both goals and assists. If it wasn't for this current injury he would probably have ended up as the U18s top goalscorer. Dawid had also made U23 appearances this season and has a very bright future in front of him.

We believe Dawid has what it takes to make it to the top and we want to try everything we can to get him over this hurdle so he can fulfil his potential next season and beyond!
