Restaurant workers are among the most vulnerable in times like these. They are rarely full time or salaried, seldom able to afford health care coverage, and in most cases living paycheck to paycheck.
They typically have no safety nets. No 401ks, life insurance, or retirement funds to dip into.
If they have other jobs, many times they are also part of the “gig economy.” They are artists, musicians, craftsmen. They are a rich-in-spirit lot but generally aren’t rich in the literal sense.
Restaurant workers know no other way but the hustle. They are creative, innovative and - let’s face it - usually a lot of fun to have around.
Our team wishes we could be entertaining, serving, and hosting each one of you right now but we know that would be counterproductive to our greater goal of getting this epidemic under control.
If you have the means to give a little to help them make ends meet until we can open our doors once again, it would be greatly appreciated!
