Across the UK : 716 miles cycle Histon to Islivig for JDRF!

My name is James Voss and I am 18 years old and thankyou for supporting me and my fundraiser for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research) a type 1 diabetes charity.

Starting on 25th of August, I will be solo cycling over 700 miles from my home in Histon, Cambridge to Islivig on the west coast of the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides.

I plan to take about 10 days to complete the journey. Along the way I will be camping and staying in youth hostels, travelling through some of the wildest and most beautiful parts of the UK. I'll photograph and vlog the trip, posting it all at x.uk64 on Instagram and YouTube.

It will be a huge adventure but I will also be raising money for JDRF. This charity means a lot to me, as the research and funding supported by JDRF helped my family in many ways when my sister was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes aged 10. I hope the money raised will help support others going through he same in the future until we find the cure.
