Action for Anako
Donation protected
According to The American Psychology Association, “three or more women are murdered by their boyfriends or husbands on average”. Thursday, May 3r d has become a day that my family and I will never forget. My sister Anette-Anako Lumumba was shot and killed by her partner in South Burlington, Vermont. Anette has been working as a nurse taking care of families and their loved ones in times of hardship. She leaves behind her parents, siblings, numerous friends, but the most heartbreaking is her young children. I would like to ease the financial burdens that my family will be facing especially with losing someone so suddenly. I’m hoping that this fund will help take care of funeral expenses and possibly help with the future of my nieces. Any donation, no matter how small will be greatly appreciated.
All your donations from this campaign will go directly to Marie Lushima ( Anako's Mother) who is now in charge of raising Anako's children.
Thank you for thinking of us at this difficult time.
