ACTION HOMELESS/LEICESTER

My name is Jatin Patel . My friend Gurdip Singh and I are running the Paris Marathon on the 8th April 2018 which will be our fourth and final marathon at the grand age of 58!! Over the last few years I have become increasingly concerned about the rising numbers of young and vulnerable people in our cities who have become homeless often through no fault of their own . Many such people have little or no family support and are at the mercy of the elements . They often resort to addictive habits or self harm as a means of coping on a daily basis . Local charities are their only lifeline to get them back on their feet and we feel such organizations deserve to be supported in the invaluable work they do for these people especially during a time when local councils have cut back on many social care projects
