Active duty Boston EMS EMT lost during Pandemic

Frontline healthcare provider suddenly dies. The family & Boston EMS are still grieving and trying to sort through the details. EMT Regina Phillips (E986) was a 12 year veteran of the department. She was loved by all! She had been out of work since March due to complications from co-vid, and despite being treated by some of the best hospitals in the world, she was never able to fully recover.
On Sept 16th, Regina was found in cardiac arrest. EMS, two hospitals, numerous healthcare providers all worked diligently and professionally that day. They tried everything they could, but it was unsuccessful.
Not only does Regina leave behind a loving and supporting EMS community, but also a daughter and a mother! Regina will never see her daughter get her HS diploma nor will she see her go off to college. Her mother who is still in disbelief, mourns as she had to bury her only child.
Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
EMT Phillips was a BEMSRA member and BEMSRA is the organizer & distributor of the GoFundMe campaign. Boston EMS Relief Association is a 501c3 charity. Seek legal advise on tax information.
