Thomas's Eagle Project: Activity Carts

Hi, my name is Thomas Zeigler. I am currently a life scout in troop 507 working on my eagle scout project. I am wanting to collect items and raise money to build activity carts for the Infusion center in the children's hospital. The center is relatively new and when kids go there for infusions they have very little to do to pass the time. Sometimes kids are getting an infusion for six to eight hours. I have been a patient at the infusion center for a year and a half now. I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease which is an autoimmune disorder that I will live with for the rest of my life. Crohn's attacks the digestive system causing my stomach and intestines to get inflamed if not treated. I am trying to make activity packs for the kids that have to sit through an infusion. I will have a go fund me page and amazon list where people can send monetary donations or donate items. My goal for this project is to raise $3,000 to create three carts with six activity packs on each cart. The packs will include a boy/girl pack, an electronic pack, a book pack, an art pack, a toy pack, and a game pack. The three carts will go to my infusion center, the pulmonary clinic which deals with kids that have lung disorders, and the children's outpatients center which is for kids when they need to get a procedure or test done.
