Acts of Kindness - In Memory of John Tiberi

In thinking about Dad's life and honoring him, one thing that has always stood out was the way he would reach out to others, many he barely knew and often without ever talking about it or asking for recognition. One of the most precious gifts dad gave was his time... well his voice too as he loved to tell stories. He would come across anyone who was down and out and he would drop what he was doing or on way to doing and just sit down (often with a cup of coffee) and "talk it out."  There wasn't anything he had that he wasn't willing to give away, it brings tears to my heart thinking about it.

We want to honor these precious legacies by passing these traditions on in a unique way. So in lieu of any flowers, anyone who has it in their heart to celebrate dad in this special way - you may donate whatever your heart calls you to. 100% of the funds received will then be "re-gifted" (another fun trait of dad that we can smile about) in the form of care packages to special individuals and organizations that have impacted dad's life in positive ways -including people who are facing needs like he faced and those caring for people in the special ways he needed.

His granddaughters Isabella and Valentina will be part of the planning, packaging and distributing of the gifts so that they can have a few added memories to remind them how special their grandpa really was.  We hope and believe this is something that truly honors the incredible man we were blessed to call Dad.
