ADA Eagle Scout Project by Aidan Taylor
Donation protected
Hello! I'm Aidan Taylor, a local Scout from Troop 292 in Aston, Pennsylvania, and I am very passionate about making our community more inclusive and accessible to everyone. One of the challenges I've identified is the lack of handicap-accessible picnic benches in our local parks.
I believe that everyone should be able to enjoy the great outdoors and have a picnic with their loved ones, regardless of their physical abilities. That's why I'm raising funds to build a handicap-accessible picnic bench that will be installed at the Aston Township Community Center. This bench is also my Eagle Scout Project which I'm hoping to complete before the start of summer.
This special picnic bench will be designed with a wider and more stable base to accommodate wheelchairs and other mobility devices. It will also have a lower table height and additional supports to provide a comfortable and safe seating experience for everyone.
The total cost of the project, including materials, labor, and installation, is estimated to be $600. Any extra funds I raise will be donated to my Troop to support and encourage the work of my fellow Scouts. I'm asking for your help to make this project a reality. Your donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in improving the quality of life for those in our community who face physical challenges. I'm looking forward to spending time with friends on this bench.
Thank you for your support and for helping me create a more inclusive and accessible community for all.
Sincerely,
Aidan Taylor
