Zach and Ashley Adair Recovery Fund

Donation protected
On January 11th, 2014 Zach and Ashley Adair were struck by a car while crossing the street in a crosswalk on Stone Way in Seattle. Ashley suffered a head injury as well as painful bruising on the left side of her body. Zach suffered cranial trauma and a piece of his skull has been temporarily removed to relieve the pressure. He is currently in the ICU and is predicted to be there for at least a week depending on his progress, although he is conscious.
This funding campaign is to raise funds for their inevitable recovery expenses. At this point, I have no idea what insurance will cover or what the actual costs will even be, but I think we can assume they could use our help no matter what, even if it's just for lost wages from the work they'll need to miss.
Please give what you can to help them recover and get through this ordeal as smoothly as possible. The stated "goal" above is arbitrary, so if it has been reached, please don't hesitate to give anyway. Every dollar will go toward helping them.

A little about the Adairs:
For those contributing that may not know Ashley and Zach personally, it's been requested that I provide some info about them. Zach and Ashley were married in the Fall of 2011. They were both graduates of Cornish College Of The Arts and enjoy much success as local theatre performers in houses such as Arts West, The Intiman, and others. They recently purchased their first house together in South Seattle and just last week bought a second cat to fill the extra space.
Zach is known for his loud, contagious laughter. As an audience member, he is an actor's best friend and worst nightmare all at the same time. He loves MMRPGs, board games, and anything having to do with dinosaurs. He's also a teacher, who often talks excitedly about his students and his work.
Ashley is bubbly get-er-done kind of girl with ambitions and attitude to spare. She grew up in a small town in Oregon and never lost the sense of closeness and community that permeates those places. I've personally known her since the 3rd grade and have watched her grow from a goofy little girl into the classy wife of one of one my best friends over the last 20 years.
All in all, they are two of the best people you'll ever meet, and we are eternally lucky that this accident turned out as well as it did considering the circumstances.

Thanks to those who have given and those who are continuing to give. This outpouring of support will have a massive impact during their recovery.

There is a benefit show being held by a local performer, Jennifer Jasper, on Wednesday January 15th. Details here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1442838589262440/?ref=22
