Adam Chew ‘Speak Life’ Memorial Scholarship
Dear Friends and Family of Adam Chew,
As Adam Chew's birthday arrives, we were looking for a lasting impression that celebrates his exceptional life. It so happens this is also the time of year students are making big choices for their future. The Gig Harbor Tides Scholarship Foundation is a way to honor Adam's memory and make certain he is a part of paying it forward. For a scholarship to have a name, we must raise at least $500. Adam's family will set the criteria for earning the scholarship funds and it will be awarded at the GHTSF Awards Ceremony.
Adam would have been a sophomore at GHHS this year. He grew up in Gig Harbor with his beautiful sisters and family participating in all the familiar kid activities. Our community has many fabulous memories of Adam. Everyone especially recalls his kind heart and his gentleness with younger children. Adam’s smile was infectious! He was an avid reader and had a gift for vocabulary and a quick wit. His kind and gentle nature reflected his love for Jesus Christ and was evident in the way he treated everyone. Adam had a love for music and played the ukulele performing with his Ohana/music group. He had many friends and had a gift to lift someone’s spirit, encourage, and bring a smile or laugh! Adam embodied the true spirit of Aloha. He enjoyed learning Chinese with his classmates & friends. Adam was a true sports fan and athlete participating in baseball & jiu-jitsu and his heart belonged to the Denver Broncos and San Francisco Giants!
