A contagious smile and infectious laugh are just two of the aspects of Adam John Ellingson that will be missed by friends and family alike. On January 31st, God called his son Adam back to heaven at the young age of 20 years. Adam was a talented competitor who experienced as much success in the classroom as he did on both the baseball and football fields.
His athletic success eventually led him to receive an athletic scholarship from Mankato State University to play baseball and pursue a degree in Actuarial Science. He had planned on pursuing a career in sports analytics once his baseball career ended. The positive impact Adam has had on everyone he came into contact with in the Lourdes High School community, Mankato community, and beyond has been evident through the widespread support in the wake of his passing. This gofundme account has been created in response to the numerous requests as to how people might donate to the Adam Ellingson Memorial fund. The Adam Ellingson Memorial fund is being created by a group of Adam's close high school friends to honor their beloved friend. Adam loved baseball, and to help preserve his memory within the Rochester community in the same way his memory is forever preserved with each of us we want to raise money to aid Rochester Youth Baseball. Our donation will be in the form of a field upgrade, facility upgrade, or scholarship depending on how much money we raise.
