Hi, my name is Aric Ramirez and I am in the same Army National Guard Unit and Platoon as Adam McLeod. Adam is the son of Shawn and Cathy McLeod and older brother to Alex McLeod. On December 7th 2023, Adam was involved in a near fatal accident while working on his truck when it unexpectedly rolled over him, pulling him up into the axel. Fortunately for him first responders were able to respond to the accident and save his life. Adam suffered a number of injury’s including multiple fractures and breaks in his back, resulting in 6 fused disks with pins, plates and rods holding it all together. Adam and his family have been in the hospital for weeks and are now dealing with the responsibility of making sure he can recovery correctly when he leaves the hospital. With this comes the purchase of medical and physical therapy equipment to make their house accessible and a place of recovery for Adam. The McLeod’s believe in self sufficiently and not taking anything they don’t need but for anyone who has dealt with a traumatic event like this you know that sometimes you need a little help from other people. If you have the means to, please donate anything you can to help take some of the financial and emotional burden off of Shawn and Cathy.
