Adam Miller and family

Hello family and friends.

This past June, Adam began experiencing headaches and loss of motor control in his hands. Adam's doctor was concerned and sent him for a brain scan.

Less than an hour after the scan, Adam received a call urging him to be admitted to the hospital.

Within days he underwent brain surgery to remove a tumor in his right temporal lobe.

While the surgery was a success, Adam and his wife, Hannah, learned that this tumor was the worst of worst - stage 4 glioma or glioblastoma multiforme !! This type of tumor is cancerous, and due to its shape and nature, it is not curable.

Treatment is palliative, intended to allow Adam as much quality time as possible with his family.

Because treatment is time-consuming and the life expectancy for glioblastoma is limited, Adam and Hannah have decided that Adam would not return to work. Instead, he intends to spend as much time with his kids as possible.

Adam and Hannah have been married for 16 years and have two amazing kids, ages 10 and 5.

Before this sudden change of events, Adam was the primary financial provider for his family. He had been working as a psychiatrist, helping individuals suffering from addiction.

In addition to coping with heartbreak and adjusting to their new normal, Adam and Hannah are now facing mounting medical bills.

Donations will go towards medical expenses and monthly bills as Adam and Hannah seek a more long-term solution.
