Adam Salazar-Medical expenses-etc

Where do I even begin... Adam was an amazing person, a wonderful dedication son, brother, father and friend. He always had a smile on his face...on February 23, 2017 around 7pm, Adam was admitted to KU hospital in critical condition with a GSW. The doctors and nurses did as much as they could to help, unfortunately after test and scans, the nurses let us know that there was no signs of blood flow to his brain, and no sign of activity. Around two pm, per law he was declared brain dead.
Adam is an organ donor, which lets be serious, who would've thought. He is Giving hope to those who are on an organ donor list...a second chance to give someone life. It sucks, but knowing that he is saving someone who has been waiting for an organ...it's a good feeling.
Adam was such a caring person who made bad decisions as a kid. And now he leaves behind his daughter who was his world, he loved her so much. The bond was Unbreakable. A true father-daughter relationship.
His brothers and sisters, family and friends.
And worst of all. My mother.
Losing a child before yourself. One could only image the feeling.
My mother practically raised 6 kids all by herself. She did everything in her power to make sure we had all that we could.
I don't have many details about the arrangements afterwards. I know my mother would like to have a wake with family and close friends. Afterwards. We've decided to cremate his body and hold on to his ashes.
Nobody ever plans to lose a child so early. Financially, dying is expensive. My uncles thought we'd give it a try and create this account to help my mother give Adam a proper goodbye.
I wasn't sure how much to set our "goal" but anything helps.
Adam. You are forever in our hearts. We love you so much. ♥
