Adam Sivia Medical Expenses
Donation protected
On Tuesday February 16th, 2021, my brother Adam Sivia was on the receiving end of a hit and run car accident that left him in critical condition in New Orleans, Louisiana. To prevent him bleeding out, the trauma surgeons had to amputate both of legs, which in turn saved his life. We are now three days removed from this traumatic event, leaving his family trying to piece together the situation.
Adam has lived in New Orleans for nearly three years now, serving as an educator at Arthur Ashe Charter School, and as a football coach for Lusher Charter School. Adam has worked with students of all ages, from kindergarten to high school.
Adam is the most genuine, jovial, down to earth person and serves as a rock in so many people lives. His impact has been felt from all over. Everyone who has met him has been effected by the radiance of positive energy that Adam has always given .
While the length of Adam's recovery is still very unclear, his medical expenses and need for future assistance is immense. Since Tuesday, one question that has been constantly ask by everyone is "how can we help?"
We've set up this page as an avenue to not only generate some assistance for my brother, but also to show Adam there are countless people out there rooting for his recovery.
We cannot understate how much all of the support, love, and encouragement have meant to us and we look forward to the day Adam is back to positively effecting children's lives and spreading the positive energy that he is known for.
If there is anyone who has the drive and motivation to overcome any obstacle, it's Adam. He is a risk taker. He is a warrior. He is the strongest willed person I know.
Whether you know him as Adam, A-Siv, King Hawg, Siv, Mr. Sivia, or Coach Sivia please know this is not the final chapter, the story is just beginning. The road will be long and hard, but Adam will be an even bigger inspiration to everyone he knows.
Every Phoenix rises from the ashes, this will be no different.
God bless,
David Sivia and Family
