Adam Vang's Funeral

Adam Vang, born March 25, 1982, in Ban Vinai, Thailand, was the eldest of 10 children. Despite that, he was young at heart and could be seen joking around with his friends and family, performing his “magic” tricks or doing random things like showering in the rain. Adam was an excellent artist as well. From cars to portraits, his creativity and detail knew no bounds. Adam earned his aunt an “A” on a work he had drawn for her (Sorry, teachers).

At the age of 18, he found work to support his family. He was family-oriented, kind and sincere, often treating his younger siblings to snacks or lending money to a friend in need. He also married and had two daughters. He loved his two children dearly.

In 2005, when Adam was 23, he had a serious car accident that would change his life. The accident injured his neck, causing him to wear a neck brace for support. Soon after, he suffered a stroke that resulted in locked-in syndrome, a condition where a person has total paralysis. Being the eldest and with so much to still live for, he struggled with being bed and wheelchair bound.

Despite this struggle, he remained optimistic and put his faith in God to see him through. He continued to have a love for humor and was quick to laugh at the jokes of those caring for him. He loved watching movies as well as listening to and reading the bible.

On August 24, 2022, Adam was freed from his struggle and made his journey to be with God. He was a fighter through and through and fought very well. He was surrounded by family members, who watched over him through the hospital stream.

He is survived by his two beloved daughters.
