Adam's Christmas Kitten Fundraiser

Tax deductible

At the young age of 3 weeks,  Adam was rescued along with his mom and siblings by one of our Broken Tail Rescue fosters.   Once her kittens were born,  Adam's mom was thrown out of her house,  and Adam and his siblings were to be given away for free.   After being reunited with her babies in foster,  Adam's mom was able to nurse her kittens so they would grow stronger and find loving furever homes.   All of Adam's siblings have now been adopted,  but Adam remains in our care.  This is Adam's story:

At just 8 weeks old,  Adam began to have tremors and seizures.  He was  rushed to the veterinary hospital where he experienced seizures every 4-6 hours for several days until his symptoms could be stabilized with  medication administered twice daily.  On his new medication, Adam was sent back to his foster home for further monitoring.  Although the violent seizures remain under control for now,  Adam's constant tremors continue - an indication that further treatment is needed to ensure he will grow strong and healthy.  Adam's doctors have advised that we schedule an MRI to see what's happening inside Adam's brain that may be causing these tremors and seizures.  They are hopeful that with this information, they will be able to treat him fully and help him live a long and happy life.

Despite all that he has been through since his birth,  Adam is a loving and affectionate kitten.  He loves to be picked up and carried around the house, and he purrs like a motor boat!  He is adored by his foster family.  He loves to run and play, and although his tremors make him nervous at times,  it hasn't detracted from his zest for life and love of people.

Thank you for reading Adam's story.  It is his Christmas wish that with your help, we will find the answers to his medical mystery so that he may find a loving furever home to grow up in.  The cost of Adam's hospital stay, medication, and necessary tests are more than Broken Tail can afford without the help of our dedicated supporters.  This holiday season, please share Adam's story and consider making a donation to his care.  Every little bit helps.

Thank you all, and happy holidays from Adam and all of us at Broken Tail Rescue <3

Will Adam be available for adoption?
Yes! Once Adam's symptoms have stabilized, he will be ready to find his forever home. He's a total love bug, so we are committed to finding him the purrfect match to last a lifetime. Adam loves to be held, played with, and adored. He loves his human companions and will bring joy to any household. Look for his profile at www.brokentailrescue.org  soon!

How much should I contribute?
We are so appreciative of any amount you can contribute to help our friend Adam. Every dollar counts! As a fully volunteer organization, 100% of your donation goes directly to animals in need (less the service fee charges from GoFundMe). Should we exceed our goal for Adam, all additional funds will be directed to the many wonderful animals in our care.  Thank you for your support.
