ADAMS: Dua Garden Fundraiser

Assalaamu Alaikum!

I'm Yousuf Sarwar from Troop 99 at McLean Islamic Center. I am working on my Eagle Scout project that involves revamping an existing picnic area into a Dua (prayer) garden at ADAMS Center Sterling. The goal is to better utilize an under used space and convert it into a serene space for community members to gather, sit, and make dua for youth and other community members who have passed away.

My plan includes adding a flower bed, installing a communal mini library stocked with Dua books, power washing, and painting picnic benches as needed and conducting basic landscaping to enhance the surrounding area.
