Adams Heroic Journey

Hi my name is Noel Boyce, I am participating in the Mondello24. It's a 24 hour cycle. I am doing this challenge so I can fundraise for equipment for my little grandson Adam.

Adam has PVL white matter brain damage, resulting in Adam having cerebral palsy. Adam uses a kwalker as a mobility aid. In addition, he uses a wheelchair for longer journeys and day trips. As a result of Adams Cerebal Palsy Adam requires a vast range of equipment and aids to assist him in his daily life.

Adams parents work extremely hard to provide Adam with all the extra support and therapy he needs to thrive by himself. Adam attends a personal trainer, physical therapist, he also attends hydrotherapy once a week to help keep his muscles loose and help strengthen his core and muscles.

As Adam is getting older his equipment is getting more expensive; he will require a new wheelchair, a new special needs car seat; he will also require mobility aids to help assist him in the house daily.

I would love to be able to help assist Adams parents and be able to give them the funds to provide Adam with all the equipment and extra therapys that he requires to continue to thrive.

Adam is a bright lovable little boy who is defying all the odds stacked against him, Adam has great strenght and determination, and we wish to help Adam thrive as much as he possibly can.
