ADAMS Leesburg Sports Field Fence Installation

AsSalam Alaikum Brothers and Sisters,

My name is Zubair Mahedavi; I'm a life scout in Troop 786 and a lifelong member of ADAMS Leesburg. I am writing to you with an urgent call to action. Our youth are the future of our community and we need to do everything we can to provide them with safe and secure places to play and learn. As a member of the Boy Scouts of America, I am leading this initiative as part of my Eagle Scout project, which aims to make a positive impact on the community and improve the lives of our youth.

The ADAMS Leesburg Fence Installment project is an important initiative that aims to enhance the safety of our community by installing a chain link fence around the turf field at the community center. The turf field that currently exists has no fence at all, so when children play games like soccer, the ball rolls down far off the field. This project will benefit our youth by providing them with a secure space to play soccer, football, and other outdoor activities, without the risk of losing the ball or getting lost in the vast site.

We all know how important it is for children to stay active and engaged in healthy activities, and the fence installment will help them do just that. The project will also make the playground at the community center more accessible to children, and increase the youth presence at the mosque.

However, we need your help to make this project a reality. The total cost of the fence installation is $7000, and we are counting on the generosity of our community members to help us reach this goal. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in the lives of our youth and the safety of our community.

Materials - $5000

Tools - $500

Supplies - $300

Other needs - $500

Total Estimate = $6300

Because I am mainly relying on a portion of tools to be supplied by volunteers themselves, there might be a chance they aren't available for free. For this reason, I’d like to raise $7000 to be safe. Worst case scenario, I donate the leftover funds and supplies to the mosque for future eagle projects.
