Adam Kaplan's Medical Rehabilitation Fund
Donation protected
On Saturday, March 19, 2022, Adam was riding his bicycle while training for a triathlon when he was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene. Adam suffered major traumatic injuries. He was found by another motorist and was airlifted to the hospital. Our family has been by his side ever since. It has been a trying time, but Adam is fighting for us, and we are praying that he heals and comes back to us soon.
Adam is moving into the next phase of his treatment. This will be a specialized healthcare facility that can give him the long-term care he needs to rest and heal while our family waits for more positive news. Although Adam has medical insurance, we anticipate bills beyond what his insurance can cover. His medical bills are already tremendous and will continue to grow. Our family is asking for help so that Adam, his wife, and his son will have the financial support they need to continue to care for Adam while he rehabilitates.
Our family wants to thank his friends at ABF Freight, YRC, the Teamsters Local 79, and Jesuit High School Alumni for their support. Adam loves his job as well as his friends there, and has always been proud to be a Jesuit graduate. They have supported him and our family with their thoughts and prayers. We would also like to thank all of Adam’s friends and family who have shown their support.
Adam is loved by so many in the community. We are hurting deeply because Adam is our heart and soul. He is also a father to a 6-year-old boy that misses him each day, a husband to a wonderful and strong woman that loves him very much, an amazing brother, and a caring and compassionate son to his parents. He is an uncle and a best friend to his brother. Adam is everything to our family, and we want to fight for him just like he’s fighting for us right now.
Most importantly, before we ask for donations, we ask for your prayers for Adam. It would mean so much to us. Some of you have expressed interest in giving financial help to Adam, and this is the platform we have chosen to use. We hope that it will reach many and give you all an opportunity to pray for him.
