Addisons fight against brain cancer

Hi my name is Kelsey and as most of you know my 15 year old daughter Addison was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer 1/17/2023.
She was diagnosed with DMG a diffused midline glioma a inoperable incurable tumor in the brain stem. It’s a rare childhood cancer with a devastating survival rate of 1% because of how rare it is, it’s very difficult to study and to treat with a 6 month to a year survival rate.
DMG occurs in the brainstem which controls many of the body’s vital functions such as breathing, blood pressure and heart rate, it also causes a lot of neuropathy (nerve pain) and mobility issues which she has unfortunately experienced.
Words cannot express how heartbroken and what a dark place I have been in the last 8 months watching my daughter be in pain everyday and fighting for her life, and not knowing how much time I have left with her. It has caused unimaginable ptsd and anxiety for the both of us and her brother.
Her dad also passed away this year so she has been through a lot dealing with that and processing her diagnosis.
As a single mom I have been doing my very best the last 8 months, but I am asking for support now because I have missed a lot of work recently due to her having anxiety and her not wanting me to leave her. Also insurance doesn’t cover the cost of a electric scooter or wheelchair and it’s very hard for me to push her around alone, also I am trying to get a bigger car for us to ride comfortably in with her and with her wheelchair. She also would like a new bed since that is where she spends most of her time. She has asked to take her brother to Disney World and has made a bucket list of some things she wants to do! I would like to make as much of it happen for her as I possibly can. So I’m just asking for everyone to help me and even if you can’t donate to please share this to reach more people. It was hard writing this and breaks my heart that I even have to and I pray no parent has to ever go through this and grieve their child before they are even gone and hear the words incurable. As a mom it is traumatic and makes it hard to even exist most days. I would like to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers and support you have shown me and my kids during this time
Addison underwent brain surgery for a biopsy 1/10 and has received 30 rounds of radiation which has been shown to pro long life by 2-3 months and she has been doing a immunotherapy infusion called Avastin which helps her body fight cancer naturally. We have also been doing cbd and other natural supplements and although she still has symptoms such as neuropathy and a foot drop and a lot of tiredness and nausea her tumor remains stable at this time and we are so thankful for that
