Adele Nelson - Autism Service Animal
Adele is our miracle baby. Anyone who meets her instantly knows she’s special. She developed normally and hit every milestone until she was 18 months old. Suddenly an invisible switch flipped and she became a totally different child. She was no longer that happy little girl I'd known for 18 months. She became trapped within her own body and no longer able to effectively communicate her needs.
Adele was diagnosed in June with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She turned 3 in September but she struggles immensely with speech, socializing and is a huge flight risk. Adele lights up and is her true self when she’s around animals, especially dogs.
We’ve found Adele’s forever special furry companion! Snickerdoodle is a perfect fit and we will be having him professionally trained as her service animal. Please help us bring some light into our little girls' life! She needs a companion who will love her unconditionally and understands her entirely.
Please share our story and donate if possible. Every bit helps as we have struggled financially since my high-risk pregnancy and my inability to work for three years because of the amount of care needed to raise our special needs child. Thank you so much for changing our little Adele’s life!
