Please help 7-year-old Adelia beat cancer
Donation protected
Hello dear family, friends, loving community, and global support networks,
We come to you today with a heavy heart to ask for your help in raising funds for our niece Adelia. She was diagnosed this week with a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer, high grade diffuse midline glioma, and it’s critical we do everything we can to help make sure Adelia gets all of the support and resources she needs to fight this terrible disease.
Adelia is truly a Wonder Woman. Her infectious personality, endless energy, and bright smile will light up any room. She is wise beyond her years, exuding both empathy and humor when the time is right. She loves soccer, girl scouts, and dancing, and she is a talented violinist nearly finished with the first Suzuki book. She's a voracious reader and she channels her creative spirit to continuously entertain all those around her. It’s no surprise that she’s approached this entire situation with the utmost bravery and strength and we want to do all that we can to help her continue the fight.
Adelia underwent successful emergency surgery last week to remove the operable part of the tumor, but her journey is far from over. She will be starting radiation next week and she will likely need clinical trials and other alternative methods to fight this aggressive disease. These treatments will come at no small cost, so we are asking for your help to ensure she gets the care and medical support she needs and deserves.
Every donation, no matter how small, can make a difference in Adelia's life and the lives of her family. In addition to covering costs to clinical trials and other immunotherapy methods, your contributions will be used to provide emotional and practical support to Adelia and her family, including Meryl, Mike, and baby Esme. Your help can make a significant impact on Adelia's life by helping her family navigate this challenging time so they can focus on what's most important: providing Adelia with love and care.
We understand that COVID has brought tough times, and this year has already been emotionally and financially trying for many people. We humbly reach out to you to come together as a community to support Adelia, Meryl, Mike, and Esme, which can make a huge difference in their lives as they journey with each other on the road ahead.
We are grateful in advance, from our hearts to yours, for your support and generosity.
With love and gratitude,
Peggy, Joshua, & Finley
