Aden Bowmans Battle with Cancer

We are asking for support for our dad, Aden Bowman. In September he was diagnosed with stage 2 laryngeal cancer (cancer of the vocal cords). By the end of December, we found out it had aggressively progressed to stage 4 and the tumor had grown to block most of his airway. Things progressed very quickly and the only option for Dad was to have a surgery to remove his vocal cords, thyroid and lymph nodes, leaving him with a tracheostomy.

Dad has successfully had the surgery and is now recovering. We are very thankful there were no complications and everything went well. Currently we are waiting to hear whether they found any cancer in the lymph nodes they removed, which could mean further treatment. In the upcoming weeks he will begin the next steps of this journey as he relearns how to speak and how to navigate daily activities.

This situation has been very challenging financially as he has been unable to work consistently since the end of October and will most likely need to adjust his work situation as he rehabilitates. Your support as dad goes through this trial would be greatly appreciated.
