Adirondack Shelter at EKU Maywoods

Hi,
My name is Benjamin Absher. I am 17 years old and am from Richmond, Kentucky. I am working with the Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) Natural Areas Division on a project they have expressed need for. EKU has ownership over a property just outside of Crab Orchard, Kentucky called Maywoods. The manager of Maywoods along with others in the natural areas division are looking to construct an Adirondack "lean to" hiking shelter off one of their hiking trails on the property.
This shelter would be used as a place of rest, or shelter for the night, for the students at EKU or visitors who are out to enjoy Maywoods lovely property. There is no other shelter off any trail on the Maywoods property currently so having one is definitely a need.
The funds for this project will be used to supply materials, rental of tools, and refreshments for the outstanding volunteers that are/will be helping with this project.
The funds needed for this project are needed relatively soon. We are all, myself specifically, on a tight schedule to complete this project. Any funds are greatly appreciated! Myself, EKU Natural Areas, every volunteer, and the countless hikers in the future thank you and are so excited to bring this very cool project to fruition.
