Adlaf Family

It is with a heavy heart that we as a family must share this devastating news.  Our husband/ father/ uncle/ sibling/ son/ friend Mike Adlaf has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer that has metastasized to his Liver,  Lungs and Bowel and has been given approximately 12 months. Mike is 50 years old and has called Oakville his home for the past 18 years. He is self employed and owns his own landscaping company called  A.M. Landscapes and has been unable to work. This puts a great deal of stress on his wife Sandy and their 2 children as Sandy has been home with the kids and does not qualify for any benefits.

Mike is finishing up his first round of chemo on December 31 and will start the 2nd round right after (he gets chemo every 2 weeks for 50 hours straight) The 2nd round of chemo could cost up to 12k per month for at least 3 months as it's not government funded. This is a cost that is going to be very difficult for the already struggling family.

We are a very proud family and it really puts us out of our comfort zone to ask for the communities’ help, but we need this help.

We fully understand we are in the middle of a pandemic, so any amount big or small would be appreciated beyond measure. Even a simple “share” of this go fund me will help us.
