Williams Dr. Dock Replacement

Donation protected
We are raising money from the neighborhood to rebuild the dock at Williams Drive. As many of you are aware, the nearly fifty-year old dock at Ackerman Park on Williams Drive is in a severe state of disrepair. If you have been to the dock recently or attended any of our recent neighborhood meetings, you are well aware of the poor condition of this dock.

After a year's worth of negotiation and with approval of a majority of members at the last special meeting, funding is being drawn from three sources: (i) Admiral Heights Improvement Association (AHIA) savings ($8,000), (ii) Admiral Heights Boat Club members ($26,000), and (iii) this donation campaign (target is $8,000).  Further, a 25-year agreement between the two organizations will jointly develop an escrow account to make the next dock replacement (likely Dewey in 2040) much less painful.

The board is excited about the prospect of improving Admiral Heights property for the benefit of all.  Please take a moment and consider your ability to make a donation to fund this project. Any extra funds raised during this effort will contribute to the overall dock fund. Now is the time to take action, rebuild the dock, and set the neighborhood on a responsible, sustainable financial path for any future dock replacements needed.

Please help us restore this great neighborhood asset for future generations of Admiral Heights residents!
