A few people have asked if I could create a fund specifically for my mom to be able to adopt a sea turtle hatchling or an entire nest in her honor.
The Loggerhead Sea Turtle Conservation in Juno, Florida, has many hatchlings and nests available for a symbolic adoption.
My mom, Amy, was in love with sea turtles and all tortoises. I wanted to honor her by adopting a hatchling and naming one in her honor with her name.
My mom was a fighter, and I want the hatchling to be a fighter just like her. The new generation of Sea Turtle would be named after her.
I set the funding at $150. There are turtles you can adopt for only $40 and follow the tracking and progress and there are entire nests you can adopt for $150!
I would love to adopt an entire nest in her name and honor.
