Estes Park Adopt-A-Business

Donation protected

Summit Church and Brownfield's are leading an effort to adopt businesses affected by the devastating flooding on September 12, 2013. The rains fell upon our land and life changed for everyone in one day. Roads leading in and out of Estes Park were destroyed. Business has been adversely affected in our community, and some have even closed their doors. Many individuals and families have suffered. The economic impact to this community has been unparalleled. People are still struggling and we can help!

Our project entails raising money to build websites free of charge for businesses affected by the flood. According to Entrepreneur.com, "If you have a business, you should have a website. Period. No question. Without a doubt." Recently on MSNBC, a financial consultant stated that "a business without an effective website is likely to go out of business." Recognizing the economic loss incurred from the flood and the world's changing technology demands, we decided websites were a great way to help in the Estes Park flood recovery process. The internet allows people all over the world the opportunity to support Estes Park from their very own homes. Also, in our technological age, people use the internet to plan their vacations. Once at their destination, they use the internet to read reviews, find the closest attractions, decide where to go and what to do, and the list goes one. These new responsive, e-commerce websites will allow businesses to attract new customers when they are visiting Estes Park as well as shop online when they return home.

All of the money donated goes directly to the development of websites for businesses throughout the community. The cost of creating each individual website is $500. Our initial goal is to raise enough money to build 20 websites for 20 different businesses. They will receive the training necessary to run their own website once it is constructed. Each website will immediately be connected to Rainer Schelp's, shopestesparkcolorado.com to increase traffic and visibility. Business owners will have the opportunity to share their products with the world. To date, we have completed seventeen new websites and have seen amazing results. Sites are being worked on every day. Netfuzion is doing an amazing job creating websites and donating time and effort to this project. We have our first 20 businesses signed-up and a waiting list for others. If we raise enough money, we will continue building sites and exceed our 20 business goal. We would love to be able to build a website for every business who asks for help. Not only are the immediate benefits clear, but the long-term impact is obvious. Your gift today will have residual benefits for years to come.

May God be glorified as we help the people of Estes Park look with hope toward the future. Thank you for giving!
