Thirteen years ago, we fell in love and started planning our life together. We chose baby names, decided how we would raise them, and then waited for the blessed news. And waited. And waited. After two miscarriages, I decided that in order to protect my heart and my sanity, I could convince myself that I never really wanted kids. Boy was I wrong.
For those of you who don't know us, Eric is a firefighter (and a veteran) and I (Heather) am a case manager at a bank. We are both college educated and self-proclaimed word nerds. We have 2 cats and 2 dogs, attend Baptist services regularly, and enjoy spending our free time together.
We are fully committed to raising a child to be a good and faithful servant of God, to doing what is right when the world disagrees, and to being strong in the faith. We can't think of a better way to show God's love than through the adoption of a child.
