Adoption Fundraiser for Travis and Brittany

Travis and Brittany Worrell are adopting!!! They began the formal process through an adoption agency in September of 2020. The expenses associated with adoption are very high usually between 35,000 and 50,000 dollars. These expenses include agency fees, lawyer fees, birth mother expenses just to name a few. As they navigate the ups and downs of the process, we (their Moms) wanted to organize this fund raiser to help them out financially.

Brittany and Travis began their life journey together when they were seniors in high school. They dated long distance throughout their college years, seeing each other on breaks and visiting each other when they could. They were married in 2014 and started their life together. At that time Travis was starting his career in the military and Brittany would soon begin her calling as an elementary school teacher.

They always knew they wanted children but due to health considerations that would make pregnancy risky, they were advised against this. After much prayer they decided that adoption was the route for them. They began saving money and working to be able to realize their dream of having a family.

Because of their military obligations, timing was tricky. Being available for the entire process in one state would make for a much smoother experience and save money in the long run. So they waited until last fall to start the process. They made their move from Georgia to Nevada in July and began immediately working on the necessary steps such as application and the home study.

This is in God’s hands and we know that God has a plan for them to become parents. He will lead them to the child that will be perfect for their family. We ask you to please pray for their situation and if you are able, consider making a monetary donation. They will truly make wonderful parents to any child they are blessed with.
