Adoption Help for The Baumgartners

Hello Generous Friends! I am writing today on behalf of my friends Lindsey, Chad, and Ian Baumgartner. I love this family so much and hope you all read their story, follow their journey, and donate to their dream of adoption.

Hello! We are the Baumgartners. We are hoping to add to our family through adoption. Chad and Lindsey have been married for 12 years and have a three-year-old son, Ian. Lindsey is a fourth-grade teacher in Fargo, North Dakota. Chad works as an outside salesman for JTH Lighting Alliance. This year we learned that infertility would be a part of our story together. After many failed fertility treatments over the last year, we are now pursuing adoption.

The money we raise will help us pay for our home study and other costs associated with adoption, as it is such an expensive process. To make our dream of growing our family come true, we do need to ask for a little help. With your help we look forward to growing our family and welcoming a child into our home and our lives.

While costs vary based on agency and circumstances, adoptions typically range from $30,000 to $50,000. Costs vary widely because of potential travel, medical expenses, and the needs of the birth mother. All the money raised through this GoFundMe will go directly to the cost of our adoption.

We have a long journey ahead of us, but we are excited and hopeful.
