Adria's brain tumor radiation treatment

“A seizure is a sudden, uncontrolled electrical disturbance in the brain,” according to Mayo Clinic. In 2017, I was constantly getting seizures which caused unconsciousness, uncontrollable jerking movements of my arms and legs, terrible headaches, nausea, temporary loss of vision, anxiousness, dizziness and most dreadful, memory loss.
I once got real upset with my son for leaving the house, forgetting I gave him permission to leave. It hurts me a lot to see my son losing faith in his own ‘Mother.’ This made me cry day in and day out. However, I smiled in public as if nothing was wrong but, felt hollow, lonely and sad on the inside. I’ve always been alpha person who depended on the Almighty God to recover me. My seizures lasted 2 years after seeking medical attention in October, 2019. A computerized tomography better known as CT scan was done to find out the cause of the seizures; then I knew I had a tumor inside of my head - a mass or growth of abnormal cells in the brain that could become cancerous. Honestly, I thought of giving up after I’ve heard this news.
My Father, my backbone has always been present throughout everything even with his own illness, blood clots. He encouraged me to keep pushing. “If you stay here for 3 Months, 2 weeks or 1 day, your life on earth can make a huge difference to the UNIVERSE,” he said gracefully. A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan was performed to highlight more details pertaining to the size, type and age of the tumor. It was at grade II where it was growing fast. Immediately, I arranged for surgery in Boston on November 20th, 2019 before it had gotten worst. Lord God, I will never be able to thank you enough for being there for me continuously. The surgery was successful, Amen.
However, in order for the tumor to be extinct or never return, radiation therapy is needed. Unfortunately, it cannot be done unless I have the necessary funds to proceed with the radiation treatment.I continued to work through the pain and pressure in order to raise the funds. Corona aka COVID-19 stood me up unexpectedly and lost my job. I started baking pastries at home to raise the funds for my treatment. I would like to express my heart-felt thank you for the support, help and donations from everyone thus far. I would definitely like to get over this and go back to my ordinary life with my only child ( my son) and my family. Allow me to extend my gratitude in advance for your help.
